Pea seeds planted a few days ago, Bijou and Champion of England have germinated. Very happy about that, as this will be my first attempt at growing pea's

  1. here we plant peas in March as soon as the snow leaves the soil. They do not seem to like the heat much. By the way thank-you for your comment on my post. Now to post a bunch of Niagara Falls Garden pics from to-day

  3. Yes that was first time luck and lucky at that. It blew me away. I am so proud of it With so many people in the field of hybrid tulips I am sure that this must have been done before, But what the heck. I am so pleased that I even tried.
My herb Garden is starting to take off slow but sure. I am so glad I came upon your Blog as it has inspired me to do something very different than my norm. Tuesday I planted corn where I usually plant Wax Wing Begonia This will be fun to see. Better I planted Tomatoes as well. My garden is going to be much more a eating garden this year than a viewing Garden.

  4. Well luck or not. that is a very impressive flower with a great reason for creation. I am firm believe in that if you dont try you never know.

glad the herb garden is coming together for you. I have never tried corn either. One day though, cant wait to hear how it goes, I definitely think corn is more appealing that begonia's too. Every one grows begonia's. I also think is an eating garden is a viewing garden. People still ask what different plants are.

  6. Good luck with the egg plant. I have never tried aubergine (egg plant) , I dont think I have even eaten one, so if I did try to grow it, I would buy one from the supermarket first. Do you have a greeenhouse Reg? as I think over hear thats where they have to be put like toms
