Fat Babies and Chives

The chives and looking great and have come in to flower nicely. So far this year depsite having 3 clumps, I have hardly had any fresh chives at all




The lemon balm is growing well too and so far no sign of rust. I will keep watching as it always seems to appear. Maybe the very cold winter has got rid of the rust


This is one of Achocha plants "fat baby" is the variety and it is coming along nicely. I am very happy with it. Once it goes against the fence it will go bonkers. Just like normal

    Is there anything that you can do with the flowers as far as a herb use. I have only ever used the greens. I actually like the look of the flowers so I have as a rule being leaving them on.

    I believe you can but I have never actually eaten them. I have left them on this time as I think they add colour to the garden
