Sorrel I had to post my Garden View

I have been meaning to post a full shot of the back garden for some time. So here it is. this is the view from the back window. It shows a 6ftx8ft greenhouse at the rear. I have a drive down the side and a small garden at the front of the house

I have 2 compost bins at the back and there is a wildlife area just to the right of the greenhouse, I will have to do a better shot in another entry

This is the sorrel that I am growing, It is nearly 6ft tall now and has plenty of flowers on it. Sorrel self seeds very easily. I intend to chop it down to12inch shortly, it will quickly grow again

  1. Incredible, I had this idea that your garden was much larger. I wish I could take a pic like this of my back yard but I have a large tree right next to the house that blocks such a view. Thanx so much for sharing this. It makes it much easier to understand your blog site.

  2. I wish it was much larger. I am sure I can squash more in to, I just to redesign it a little. Full shots are good to see, it puts things in perspective.

I want to move the sorrel near to the fence. I want any salad stuff down the side of the garage to, as mosts salads dont mind shade and I think if I jiggle the pots around I can get some more in :-)

  3. O wow, that is amazing. I really like it. I have such a large amount of stuff in my garden and it really is not very large either. Still I have a lot of property but a fair bit of grass as well. My garden has to accommodate Garden Parties so that makes it impossible to fill the whole yard in as I would like. That sorrel is huge!!!!!!

  7. lol. thats one way of looking at it. I am thankful honest.

as for the bees, they are doing ok. as I am queenless, I am not doing n inspection till about the 21st of june so that I do not injure or disturb the queens cells that are in there. I have also bought them a new home (national hive) from ebay, so when everything it up and running ok, they can be moved over. I meant to take some shots yesterday and post but I forgot even though I took my camera... homer simpson moment I think.
