The chokes are coming and the grapes are growing

The Jersusalem artichokes are growing very quickly and must be 3ft plus maybe 4ft already. They seem to be jumping out of the ground. I have some more at my Fathers garden that are not as sheltered and they are not 12inch yet despite being in a much sunnier spot

I have some tomatoes in the greenhouse, this variety is Gardeners Delight, a cherry variety, I love cherry toms, they taste great and can be picked and eaten straight from the plant in summer, the variety in the background is one called latah, that is known for being very early, I usually grow latah and find it produces tomatoes many weeks before anything else is any where near ready

The grape vine is growing nicely. plenty of foliage on, some of the foliage I have nipped back. It has 4-5 bunches of grapes on to. I have cut some of the grape bunches down this week by nipping the ends off

Weather report - wet and raining all day in Wakefield, England

This is the third day I have been unable to access my garden forum.

Peas are coming on nicely and so are most things....

The peas are growing well, these are the bijou and champion of England varieties. I am very happy with them so far and they are now outside

The Jerusalem Artichoke is also growing very quickly, I have some more at my fathers and it is only just poking out of the ground where as these are away

This is the kiwi cutting I took, not looking great, it is sat in a pot that is sat in a tray with water in constantly. I will keep posting progress

Rocket is rocketing and the parsley is curling

My small rocket plant has over wintered nicely and so has the curly parsley. I have them both planted next to each other in a fairly shady place and they seem to do great. The rocket does not bolt and the parsley keeps coming back

Curly Parsley, small but showing potential

This is the Rocket and it tastes nice and peppery. Which is great.

The Jeruselum Artichokes are going from strength to strength, I left last years harvest in the ground and there is no holding it back this year

and my redcurrent Jonkheer van tets , the fruit is starting to appear ... although there isnt a lot of it

How is your Boskoop doing?

My "Boskoop Glory" grape has finally started to show shoots. I was worried the very cold temperatures over Winter had killed it but no. This was acquired the back end of last year from Wilkinsons discounted to £1.50 I think, as it was nearly dead. Great price. I purchased it as i had read this article from Bob Flowerdew here

This is one of two vines I have although the other is an unknown green variety that is about 3 years old and was a cutting from my parents plant

The shoot is about 2inch tall

Below my Jerusalem Artichoke is just starting to break through
