A sage about tomatoes

The tomatoes have trusses developing and flowers appeared. I was quite letting planting these this year and my greenhouse is some what in the shade due to being next to some large trees, but the plants are doing well

This flower is on a tomatoes variety called "latah" which is an early type and when i grow it normally it does ondeed produce tomatoes very early indeed

This variety is gardeners delight

The sage plant is still in a 9inch pot and doing very well

Weather report - Sunny all day and generally very nice, Wakefield, England

Raspberries in flower - Glen Ample

My raspberries are just starting to flower not bad for 30th April. These are a patch that I have in a bucket, well actually an old kitchen bin, but it works well with holes in the bottom.

This is my pot of green sage, I think I have some tricolour sage in the greenhouse which is also doing equally well. I have found I must put my sage plants in the greenhouse to over winter otherwise they die off.

Sage is great for adding to home made sausage rolls.
